Crispy Seaweed Chips
These Crispy Seaweed Chips are a simple, savory snack that brings the taste of the ocean to your kitchen. Made from nutrient-rich, sustainably harvested seaweed, they’re light, crunchy, and packed with flavor. Perfect on their own or sprinkled over salads, rice bowls, or soups, these chips are a tasty reminder that small changes can make a big difference, both for you and the planet.
Ingredients:
4–5 nori sheets (or other edible seaweed)
1 tsp olive oil (optional)
Salt, to taste
Optional: smoked paprika, garlic powder, or chili flakes
Instructions:
Preheat oven: 275°F (135°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare nori: If using full sheets, cut them into smaller, chip-sized squares or rectangles.
Oil & season: Lightly brush each piece with olive oil (optional) and sprinkle with salt or spices.
Bake: Arrange on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 7–10 minutes, watching closely—seaweed burns quickly.
Cool & enjoy: Let chips cool; they will crisp up more as they cool. Serve as a snack or sprinkle over salads/rice bowls.
Eco Tip: Seaweed is a sustainable, nutrient-rich superfood that requires no land or fresh water. Plus, homemade chips reduce packaging waste compared to store-bought snacks.
